Literacy Centers
I often struggle to come up with creative things do during literacy centers. Mrs. Nelson's Class webpage has tons of GREAT literacy center ideas that can be modified to meet the needs of your students.
I looked into this webpage you posted and I loved the idea of the literacy chart. I am currently in a Masters program for SPED and I am always looking for ideas for my future classroom (especially easy and cheap ones)! As soon as I saw that chart, I could imagine how I could turn it into a picture schedule. I could use the PECS (picture exchange communication system) symbols so other students and teachers could get familiar with them as well.
Thank you for posting this webpage! I can't wait to see what other interesting ideas you will have in the future.
